My website – early development

On this post I will compare the previous state of my website to the current state to show how I have improved and thought about changes, my website went through alot of changes going from different colours to different layouts.

This used to be the front cover/home page of my website, in my opinion everything is very close together and clogged up, therefore I ended up replacing it with a one image slide as you will see here.

This is the new state of my homepage, alot cleaner and sharper edges, the previous state was too clogged together and you didn’t know where to focus your attention.

This introduction used to be at the bottom of my page, the idea was is that when you opened the page there was a short introduction to welcome you to the page, later on during the website production I discovered that you could add lightboxes to the website, This was a much better way of welcoming the viewer as it comes up first thing when opening my website.

This used to be the title of my website, the word used to animate out of that white rectangle, this was in fact something I was happy with at first but after discovering a different colour palette I changed it, I also got rid of the crazy animation, it was to much for the title and I think it was just a phase of experimentation.

I also changed the background colour to a lighter black, I think this works better with the light blue, the animation is now alot cleaner.
